Carmen Grasso is master in judo, black belt 2nd Dan and, in 2005, absolved the examination for Judo Instructor in Austria.
At the age of 13 she began to train judo in Benevento (Italy) with Master ELIO VOLPE and continued to train in Austria with Master ALFRED HIMMLER and TARO NETZER. For several years she was active as judo teacher at the Judo Club Gleisdorf.
What fascinates Carmen is that Judo is not only a sport but a philosophy for everyday life. For example, UCHI-KOMI means “Don’t just know it: apply it” or “Training makes perfect”, while RANDORI means “Use the opportunities in your life” or “Always do the best you can”.
